ABOUT US

Who We Are

Nutrition cuts across sectors; AfriCAN cuts across disciplines

Africa Catalyzing Action for Nutrition (AfriCAN) is a continent-wide and African-led organisation that mobilises commitment of a multi-disciplinary group of people bound by a common vision for a healthy and well-nourished Africa. AfriCAN positions women as the key to sustainable development through improved nutrition, health, and well-being. We seek to catalyse nutrition action at every stage of the life cycle while emphasising the critical stages of childhood, adolescence, pregnancy, and lactation.
